Digital Stories

These digital stories explain genetic research from Diné perspectives. These stories are designed to help people better understand the topic of genetics, empowering individuals to talk about genetics research in ways that respect their culture and values.

The digital stories were created by Dr. Jiun-Yi Tsai (NAU) and Tonesha Yazzie, and were development with feedback from the Navajo NARCH community advisory board and the Navajo Nation Genetics Policy Development Working Group as well as key Diné community members. This work was funded by the Navajo NARCH Partnership pilot grant (Co-PIs: Claw and Garrison).
